About IAN
Ian Taylor Sutton is a pedal steel guitarist and utility musician based in the San Francisco Bay Area. There, he has earned a reputation as the go-to steel guitarist in San Francisco's storied music scene. In addition to pedal steel guitar, Ian is also accomplished on guitar, Dobro, lap steel, mandolin, and vocals making him the consummate utility musician.
Available for road and session work, Ian has toured with or in support of Chris Stapleton, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Jason Boland & the Stragglers, Trampled by Turtles, and Charley Crockett among others. Ian can also be found playing locally with a any number of bands when he's not on the road.
